Agility Ventures’ History
Agility Ventures has been providing venture debt funding to the broadband industry since 2004. Originally focused on the Wireless Internet Service Provider niche, Agility’s unique industry expertise allowed it to find the best early-stage network operators and to structure credit facilities for them that provided the capital equipment funding needed to fuel their fast growth.
Over the last six years, Agility has built a client portfolio that includes several of the largest independent broadband network operators in the U.S. Along the way, it has built its reputation as a specialty lender who can understand the potential of startup and develop-stage companies and create credit facilities that allow them to meet customer demand and grow quickly. We spend the time needed to get a deep understanding of our client’s business model and often help to refine their business plan so that it can support a credit facility for equipment and working capital funding.
Our success in the broadband market has lead us to the decision to expand our footprint slightly outside of this niche. We now look at opportunities with companies in other industries that share the key characteristics of an internet service provider, including:
